We are so thrilled to bring Azymuth, the legendary Brazilian three piece orchestra, for their first ever and only performance in Greece ! They created a new sound and genre of their own: Samba Doido (Crazy Samba) and they’ve worked with just about everyone, Jorge Ben, Milton Nascimento, Marcos Valle, Tim Maia, and Elis Regina to name a few. Azymuth’s influence on electronic music around the globe is also unquestioned. Magic will be in the air on Thursday August 18 in the Barrage garden.

Welcoming for the very first time, Marcellus Pittman. The Detroit legend has crafted a music repertoire many would be jealous of. Disco, future-beats, hip-hop, and house are the main ingredients that transform the dancefloor into a soulful and energetic experience. He’s regarded as one of the greats and a huge influence in defining Detroit’s sound.

Greece is in for a treat, the talented Alia, hailing from Belgium will be showing Zakynthos what she’s made of for her debut performance! Alia’s been making waves for the last 4 years with her impressive maturity, mixing skills and knowledge on soulful and electronic music – becoming one of the most in-demand young DJs around.

One of the highlights of our last edition, Timmy “the maestro” Regisford is back to rock our boat party at sunset, bringing his signature New York underground house sounds, fresh off the back of celebrating more than 30 years of Club Shelter and still going strong. The driving 4×4 beats, layered upon layer with classics, disco, afro, and unreleased edits, keep you moving through the journey he brings his dancers on for his epic sets. Those who had the chance to be a part of our last boat party, know it’s something you can’t miss.

Chicago will be in the House ! Jamie 3:26 the master selector from Chicago Who’s capable of lighting any dancefloor on fire will grace our decks on Saturday August 20. He always seeks out new and fresh sounds and anyone who has seen Jamie 3:26 play can testify to the effect he has on a dancefloor – he is a true force of nature.

We will also vibrate to the sounds of Djeff, Lisbon’s child of African heritage. All colours of house music are welcome into his sets and his music production echoes Africa, Europe, America and even Asia’s finest cuts. He is viewed by some of the leading figures of electronic music, as one of the spearheads behind the Afro House movement coming out of Angola, that has taken over the world of House Music.

You don’t want to miss the exclusive b2b set between Laolu and Mr Raoul K. With a background that includes releases on the likes of Innervisions, Get Physical, Defected, and successful collaborations with Mr Raoul K and support from the likes of Dixon and Black Coffee, Laolu stands out with his signature sophisticated, efficient and unmistakably distinct sound and has established himself as one of the rising new forces of the electronic scene.

The much loved and ever-funky don of Wonderwheel Recordings, Nickodemus will once again be bringing some heat to Zakynthos! He creates & DJ’s music from all parts of the World, rooted in Club Music from his upbringings in NYC, with a real tropical flare. The energy he physically brings to his sets combined with the cuban-afro-house vibes, make it impossible to stand still on his watch.

The next edition continues the festival’s journey in offering quality and audacious programming, including some of the most exciting talent in house, techno, jazz, electronic music and its associated genres. After daytime beach & boat parties, the night-time parties will then continue on the island’s legendary Barrage club and some incredible new venues.

Aside from the music, revellers can enjoy being surrounded by paradise – think crystal clear water and white silky smooth sand which looks like something out of a movie. Combine this with a cherry-picked selection of DJs and live acts and you have yourself an unforgettable experience.

Our Festival Pass gives you access to all the night time parties from 17 to 21 August for €55 (beach parties are free)

By plane, Zakynthos is served by one international airport (airport code ZTH), located towards the south end of the island near Zakynthos town, it caters for both international and domestic flights. www.skyscanner.net

By ship, Zakynthos has ferry links to Kyllini on the Greek mainland from Zakynthos Town. Ferry boats depart daily every hour and the trip lasts one hour. Ferries to Kefalonia can be joined at Aghios Nikolas, on the North-East tip of the island.
